Lifetime Warranty
VTR Effects guarantees technical assistance and support for its products under the terms below, with lifetime coverage for manufacturing defects for the original buyer.
Coverage
The warranty covers manufacturing defects of devices produced by VTR Effects under normal conditions of use.
Repair, adjustment or replacement with an equivalent product, new or refurbished, at the sole discretion of VTR Effects.
Service is subject to the technical feasibility of repair and the availability of compatible components.
Warranty transport costs covered by VTR Effects during the first 12 months after purchase.
Shipping and transport
During the first 12 months after purchase, the transport costs of warranty service are covered by VTR Effects.
After that period, shipping and return become the responsibility of the customer.
Damage in transport by third parties is not the responsibility of VTR Effects.
Inadequate packaging sent by the consumer may affect coverage.
Ownership
The Lifetime Warranty is personal, non-transferable and exclusive to the original buyer identified in the VTR Effects records.
Resale, assignment or transfer automatically ends the Lifetime Warranty.
Products acquired from third parties have technical assistance limited to 1 year from manufacture.
In that case, parts, labor and shipping may be charged.
The Lifetime Warranty protects against manufacturing defects, respecting the technical conditions of repair.
Repair depends on the availability of compatible components. If parts cease to be manufactured, are discontinued or become unavailable, the warranty may end for that repair.

Limitation of liability: VTR Effects is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, damage to other equipment or losses due to temporary inability to use the product. Liability is limited to the amount originally paid for the product, subject to the limits of applicable law.

Wear items after 1 year
After 1 year of use, the warranty does not cover components subject to natural, cosmetic or mechanical wear resulting from regular use. The replacement of these items may be carried out upon a prior quote approved by the customer.
Paint and finish.
Oxidation and corrosion.
Footswitches, knobs and displays.
External components subject to natural wear.
Final provisions
VTR Effects may change, update or revise these terms at any time, respecting the acquired rights of consumers and applicable law.
Omitted cases will be analyzed individually by the VTR Effects technical team, observing the principles of good faith and reasonableness.
